WEIBUGA STOLEN
Leif Sverre , a Canadian businessman of Foreshore area, Dangriga Town reported to police on May11, that his company'sā Mexican fiber glass skiff (high bow, white and blue in color) with a 75 HP Yamaha was missing. The skiff named āWeibugaā is 25ft in length, was in front of his office parked on the beach. The missing vessel is valued at $17,000. Police investigation continues.
MAN AT WAKE HOME BURGLARIZED
Henry Miguel, an assistant manager of Ghans avenue, Dangriga Town, reported that on 9/5/08 at about 8:30pm he left his home and returned about 4:00am on the 10/5/08 and noticed that his home was burglarized. Items he reported stolen was (1) Panasonic system gray in color valued at $650.00, (1) mini cassette recorder JVC brand black in color valued at $79.00, (1) IBM black laptop computer value $700.00, (1) Polaroid digital camera gray in color value $279.00, assorted clothes pants and shirt $250.00, (1) CD box containing 8 Compact Discs valued at $400.00 and a external CD-ROM valued at $80.00. Police investigations continue. The Police would like to notify the general public that it is an offense for anyone to have in their possession items that are stolen.
DISTRAUGHT LOVER GOES BERSERK
FRANK LOGAN, a construction worker of # 6791 Aloe Vera Street, Belize City reported that on 11/05/08, at about 10:25pm, he was inside his home when Jason Whylie entered his home and placed a sharp object to his neck, asking for his girlfriend. Logan then told Whylie that he did not know where his girlfriend was, Whylie then kicked open and damaged a wooden bedroom door inside the home. Jason Whylie then left Logan's home and headed for one Primitivo Smith's home. Smith a laborer of #6777 Violet Street, reported that while he was home Whylie entered. Jason Whylie then armed himself with a pot cover and began to hit him in the face. A scuffle ensued between Smith and Whylie and other occupants. Whylie then left and met with his girlfriend in front of the Smith residence. A fight ensued between both parties, during which Jason Whylie broke the middle glass window on the left side of a blue Dodge Caravan that was parked on Olivera Street. Police have detained Jason Whylie pending charges. LADYVILLE
HOUSE FIRE
At 12:18pm on May11, upon information received, Police visited Rhaburn Ridge, Mile 37 on the Northern Highway, where they observed a thatched house (measuring 23 X 24) completely destroyed by fire. Maria Enriquez, a Guatemalan National reported to police that at about 5:00am she discovered her house (which was under construction) was destroyed by fire.The total value of the house is estimated at $2,500.000. As a result Police detained 22 year old Juan Carlos Rivera a laborer of Rhaburn Ridge pending investigation. MISSING PERSON
Cynthia Flowers, of #258 Lords Bank , reported to police that her daughter 13 year old Shanika Flowers, a student, left home on Friday, May 9, and has not returned. Her description is as follows: medium built, medium height, brown and black hair, and has a cut mark on left hand. Clothing she was last wearing is unknown.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
On 10.5.08 at about 1:11am, acting on information received of a Traffic Accident, Police visited the Northern Regional Hospital where they saw one Maria Ana Ruth Martinez, 40yrs, a domestic of Sarstoon Street, Orange Walk Town, suffering from injuries to her face and bleeding from her ears due to head injuries. Initial investigations revealed that at about 12:45am, on Saturday 27 year old Alexis Blanco, an engineer of Muffles College in Orange Walk Town, was driving a white Toyota Tacoma Single Cab Pickup bearing L/P TOL- C-33836 on the Belize / Corozal Road from the direction of Belize City to Corozal, when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle. Maria Martinez, who was riding a bicycle on the right side of the road was hit. She received injuries to her face back and head. Martinez was later transported to the K.H.M.H in and unconscious state for further treatment. Police have since detained Alexis Blanco pending charges. BELMOPAN
MISSING PERSON
On 9.5.08 at about 7:30pm, Myrtle May McKenzie, a domestic of Camalote Village, reported to police that at about 8:30am, on Friday that her son 8 year old Keith Dennis Jr. left home en route to Our Lady of Fatima School in Roaring Creek Village to attend classes and has not returned. He is of Hispanic decent, 3feet 6 inches in height, weighs about 65 pounds, clear complexion, and has sharp nose and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing his uniform which is a long Khaki pants, beige shirt with black tennis. STANN CREEK DISTRICT DRUG TRAFFICKING On 9.5.08, at about 9:55am, while Police were conducting mobile patrol, within Dangriga Town, their attention was drawn to a gold color car with two occupants. As a result Police conducted a search inside the car which resulted in the discovery of a black and blue Knap sack containing 240 grams of suspected cannabis. Police have since arrested and charged both occupants: Carl Vertenhal, 61yrs, U.S national and Eldon Cruz, 32yrs, both of Hopkins Village jointly for the offence of Drug Trafficking. 11th May, 2008 CAYO DISTRICT MURDER On 11.5.08, at about 12:50am, acting on information received, Police visited 8th Street San Ignacio Town, where they saw one Ali Orlando Flores, 36yrs, Belizean sales agent of #10 Street San Ignacio Town, lying face up. His body had stab wounds to the chest and throat. Ali Orlando Flores was transported to the San Ignacio Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Initial investigations reveals that Flores was last seen about 10:30 on 10.5.08, at San Car Restaurant & Bar located on Joseph Andrew Drive consuming beers not far from where he was found. No arrest has been made and Police are investigating. BELMOPAN ARREST Reference reported made by Anna Salam and Edwin Salam sent in sitrep on 9.5.05, Police formally arrested and charged Bessi Allen Alvarez, 30yrs, and Luis Godoy, 27yrs, both Belizean laborer of Valley of Peace, Cayo District, jointly for the crime of Attempted rape and (3) three count of Aggravated Assault. ARREST: Reference report made by Dennis Tillett on the 11/5/08, police formally arrested and charged 21 year old LEO PALACIO of #24 Racoon Street, Belize City for the crime of Theft. ARREST: Reference report made by Lourdes Smith on the 10/5/08, police formally arrested and charged 26 year old FABIAN MARTINEZ, of #119 Barracks Road, Belize City for the crime of Theft.
