Police visited K.H.M.H where one JOHN STUART,19yrs, of a North Creek Address, Belize City, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the left side of the abdomen. Initial Investigation revealed that on 28/6/08 at about 12:15am Stuart was walking in an Alley near Queen Square Primary School when a dark skin male person, tall, slim built wearing a blue ¾ pants and black T-Shirt with a black cap and a red rag covering his face -- was standing about 30ft away then fired 5 shots in his direction, which injured him. A Medico Legal Form was issued to Stuart who was admitted to ward in a stable condition.
SAILBOAT STOLEN
MR. ANGEL VERDE, 44yrs, Fisherman of Sarteneja Village, Corozal District, reported that between the hours of 5:00am on the 26/6/08 and 9:00am on the 27/6/087 someone stole (1) 22 ft Sailing Boat (white in color with black and yellow stripes on both sides marked “BEAR”) with (1) 40 HP Yamaha engine valued at $15,000.00. On board the sailing boat were (1) 15 ft Fiber Glass skiff, (1) 4 stroke engine value $7,000.00Bcy, and (1) Dory -- a total value of $26,100.00Bcy.

ASSAULT CHARGES
Irma Castillo, 38yrs, food vendor of Halls layout, Corozal Town reported to police that at about 7:40pm on 27.6.08 whilst at home her son, Francisco Vasquez, arrived home and attempted to stab her with a knife. Police are looking for Francisco Vasquez pending a charge of Aggravated Assault.
Carmen Carter, 49yrs, of Libertad Village, Corozal District reported to police that at about 8:30pm on 27.6.08 whilst at home her son, Ever Ivan Carter, arrived home and kicked her on the chest for no reason. Police have detained Ever Ivan Carter, 25yrs, of Libertad Village, pending charge of Common Assault.
