In reference to the Burglary Report made on 5th February 2013; On Thursday, 7th February 2013, Gang Suppression Unit personnel conducted a house search at a home on Cunning Dale Drive. As a result of the search, the following were recovered: $1,800 USD, a quantity of electronic items, jewelry, and other items.
In reference to the Burglary Report made on 8th February 2013; On Monday, 11th February 2013 at about 5:00pm, (1) grey 17" Toshiba brand laptop was found at #8127 Balam Street, Belize City. Then around 5:22pm, on the said date, the following items were found at # 8410 corners Hyde Street and McKay Boulevard, Belize City: (1) black 32" Haier brand flat screen television and (1) blue black Samsung brand digital camera.
On 11th February 2013, at 11:00pm, Albert USHER, 53 year old Belizean of Teakettle Village, reported that on 10th February 2013 at 7:30pm he was at a wake inhe village when a male person reportedly hit him with a quart bottle on his head causing a wound. Thereafter, the male person pulled out a black 9mm firearm, from his pants waist, and pointed it at him and pulled the trigger, but it misfired. Police are looking for one person in connection with this incident.
SAN IGNACIO TOWN
A Businessman and Resident of Santa Elena Town, reported that on Monday, 11th February 2013 at about 12:30am, he went to San Ignacio Hotel and Casino that is situated on Buena Vista Street, San Ignacio Town, socializing with friends. He had parked his red1991 Dodge Caravan vehicle, with license plate number BZC- 31445, in the parking lot at San Ignacio Hotel and Casino, leaving it secured. He came out from the casino around 4:00am and went towards the area where he had parked his vehicle, and noticed that it was missing. He then made checks in and around the area, but did not locate his vehicle. The vehicle was later located on Avella Street in Santa Elena Town, with a flat tire on the back passenger side.

KEPT FIREARM WITHOUT A GUN LICENSE
On Monday, 11th February 2013 at about 1:00pm, personnel from the Mobile Interdiction Team were conducting routine mobile patrol on the Arenal Road when they came across a red four door Toyota Corolla taxi bearing L/P BVO D-00446. A search was then conducted inside of the car which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag, hidden under the front passenger seat. The bag was retrieved and a further search of the bag led to the discovery of a chrome CZ model pistol. The occupants of the vehicle were later identified as Alfred PANTY, 38 year old Belizean Taxi Driver of Succotz Village; Josue Israel ZETINA, 33 year old Belizean Laborer of Arenal Village; and Jason SEGURA, 40 year old Belizean Deliveryman of Georgeville Village. They were informed of the offence committed and escorted to the station where they were later arrested and charged for the offence of Kept Firearm Without a gun license.
