Jai Wei Li, 24, owner of Tommy’s Distributors at #6519 Central American Blvd. reported that at 1:45pm on 24.03.09, whilst at his business place, three male persons entered, two of dark complexion and the other of brown complexion. One of them pointed a gun at him whilst another robbed him of $5,000.00 and $8,000.00 in phone cards. The culprits then made good their escape. Police has since detained three suspects (two of them minors) pending investigation.
THEFT OF VESSEL
Percival Flowers, 55, of Saint Paul’s Bank Village reported that at 5:00pm on 22.03.09, he docked his white 25ft. fiber glass boat with (1) 115hp Yamaha outboard in the Big Falls Area, Saint Paul’s Village and upon his return at 6:00am on 24.03.09, the boat was missing. Police are investigating.

THEFT / OBTAINING PROPERTY BY DECEPTION
Robert Martin reported that on 12.11.08, he sent by wire transfer $50,000.00(US) to one James Jensen via his Alliance Bank account for him to purchase a land in Punta Gorda Town. Jensen had acknowledged receiving the money, but has presented no proof of purchase. Jensen had promised to give back the money to Martin but has not done so. Police have formally arrested and charged James Jensen, 56, of Sun Flower Street, San Pedro Town with Theft and Obtaining Property by Deception.
Deepak Advani, 28, owner of Ayana Super Store at #38 Burns Ave. San Ignacio Town reported that at 10:00am on 14.03.09, two brown complexion male persons visited his establishment where they both purchased items and paid with Bowen and Bowen Ltd. cheques amounting to $512.67. A cheque was made out in the name of Kenneth Jones, whilst the other in the name of Reknickle Hemmans. On Monday Advani was informed that the cheques were not genuine. Police are investigating.
ORANGE WALK DISTRICT
At 3:00pm on 24.03.09, Police conducted a search in an open lot in Palmar Village, Orange Walk District which led to the discovery of a transparent plastic bag which contained 82 grams cannabis. No one was found in the area and the drug was labeled as found property.
At 8:00pm on 24.03.09, Police visited a dump site near Cotton Tree Village where they discovered the decomposed body of a female in a ditch partially nude. Police are investigating.
